A villa, a family, and a story of hospitality since 1968

Villa Franceschi has belonged to the Dal Corso family since 1968. Over the years, they have preserved its beauty through careful conservation, enhancing its spaces and proportions without altering its identity. Remigio Dal Corso, together with his wife Valeria, began this journey by shaping a style of hospitality that combines elegance together with genuine warmth. Today, their sons Alessandro and Dario continue that same vision alongside them.

The villa’s history reaches back through the centuries and carries the memory of distinguished guests. As early as the seventeenth century, Villa Franceschi welcomed notable figures such as Marquis Agostino Fonseca, a diplomat at the court of Philip IV of Spain, and the nobleman Giovanni Gradenigo, son of Girolamo Gradenigo, Procurator of Saint Mark and Podestà of Verona. In later centuries, tradition also connected the villa to literary names such as Lord Byron, Gabriele D’Annunzio, and Ernest Hemingway. What connects these presences is the enduring spirit of the Riviera itself: a place of quiet and culture, where time moves to a different rhythm.
